Client Profile and Project Brief

A large NHS Hospital in the North of England is situated on a single site. Some areas on the site require unrestricted access (e.g. public wards) while other key areas require very restricted access (e.g. operating theatres). Hospital Management required central control of all these areas twenty four hours a day. In trying to balance these two requirements, the Hospital Security team turned to enGuardPro.

The Solution

Working with out local installer, TSSI enabled the Hospital to deploy enGuardPro across the entire site. The central system is manned 24 hours a day, and monitors all events across the site. The Hospital's main local area network (LAN) carries all communications between the door controllers and the enGuardPro central server.

The Business Benefits 

Hospital Management are now able to exercise central control of both public and restricted areas twenty four hours a day. Also, as the estate expands and the new buildings are erected, the scalability of enGuardPro means that these new buildings can be easily added into the expanding enGuardPro system.
