enGuardPro in GovernmentClient Profile and Project BriefA certain European Police force is responsible for the central production of Passports for all qualified residents of that country. The Passport Centre is situated in a large block in the centre of the capital city. Clearly, security is of the utmost importance; although armed police officers are ever present throughout the building, it was imperative to ensure the highest level of protection for all entrances to the Centre. TSSI worked with our local Systems Integrator to implement an enGuardPro Access Control system utilising the Verid+ biometric fingerprint readers. Access to all doors (on all floors of the building) is controlled by the central enGuardPro system. Access to the most critical area (namely the actual Passport production line) is secured via an airlock entrance - entry to, and exit from, the airlock is also controlled by Verid+ units.
