TSSI implemented the Verid+ biometric units to control both entry to, and exit from, the stockroom facility. Only staff who are authorised to enter the Stockroom have their fingerprints enrolled on the Verid+ units. As each "Verify" operation is stored, with the exact date and time recorded (both on entry to, and exit from, the stockroom) the units offer incontrovertible proof of a particular member of staff's presence in the stockroom at a specific time, and for a specific period. Deployment of Verid+ units in this way has provided a very significant decrease in these "behind the scenes" losses.
